Georgia State University (GSU) in Atlanta will begin offering a degree-completion program for dental hygienists this fall. The program will enable dental hygienists with an associate’s degree to earn a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree completely online. The new program derives from a collaboration between GSU’s Perimeter College and its Lewis College. GSU is the first tier-one research university and the second college or university in the Atlanta area to offer a degree-completion program for dental hygienists.
