Dental Hygiene Educator Is Inaugurated as College’s Sixth President
Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez, BSDH, MEd, EdD, was inaugurated as the sixth president of the Pennsylvania-based Montgomery County Community College.
Victoria L. Bastecki-Perez, BSDH, MEd, EdD, was inaugurated as the sixth president of the Pennsylvania-based Montgomery County Community College (MCCC) on April 16, 2021. Bastecki-Perez began her career at MCCC in 1996, serving as director of the dental hygiene program. Prior to her joining MCCC, Bastecki-Perez was an assistant professor and senior clinic supervisor of dental hygiene at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine.
With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, Bastecki-Perez is dedicated to helping the students, faculty, and community of MCCC succeed. Bastecki-Perez plans to focus on the college’s vision, mission, and strategic plan together with the “passionate, enthusiastic, equity-minded, innovative, resilient and determined members of the MCCC family.”
