With 21 years of experience as a dental hygienist, she spent most of her career in private practice before transitioning into public health 3 years ago. Teruel is passionate about promoting oral health and patient education. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her beautiful granddaughter. Teruel also enjoys having dinner with friends, going on walks with her dog, and taking Zumba classes.
