
Women Are More Likely to Follow Pandemic Restrictions Than Men
More women believe that COVID-19 is a public health threat and comply with pandemic restrictions, such as mask wearing and social distancing, than their male counterparts, according to a new study published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. Men are at greater risk of complications caused by COVID-19 than women, even though infection rates are similar.
