Dimensions of Dental Hygiene is pleased to welcome Kathleen O. Hodges, RDH, MS, as the new instrumentation expert for its “Ask the Expert” online forum.

Dimensions of Dental Hygiene is pleased to welcome Kathleen O. Hodges, RDH, MS, as the new instrumentation expert for its “Ask the Expert” online forum. She is a professor emerita in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Idaho State University in Pocatello who teaches in the Master of Science Program. With more than 40 years of experience in dental hygiene education, including clinical teaching and administration, Hodges also works in private practice. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, a board member for the Western Society of Periodontology, and a Dimensions Editorial Advisory Board member. A prolific contributor, Hodges has written extensively on hand and ultrasonic instrumentation for Dimensions.
Hodges takes over for Dimensions’ previous instrumentation expert Stacy Matsuda, RDH, BS, MS, who has been answering questions on hand and ultrasonic instrumentation for the past 6 years. Dimensions is grateful for her contributions.
