Two Dental Hygienists Honored at ADEA Meeting
The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) honored two dental hygienists at its recent February meeting in Washington, DC.
Patrician Nunn, RDH, MS, Dental Hygiene program director at Texas Woman’s University in Denton, received the Gies Award for Outstanding Vision by a Dental Educator for her work in creating degree-completion programs, accelerated programs, and distance learning opportunities in dental hygiene.
Marlaina Reich, RDH, BAS, clinical assistant professor, Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, was awarded the ADEA/Sigma Phi Alpha Linda DeVore Scholarship.
