Peppermint Twist Flavor Has New Color and Extra Breath Freshening Power Due to Added Chlorophyll
Medford, MA (June 30, 2009) –Natural Dentist, Inc., a company that develops and distributes a line of oral care products formulated with scientific blends of natural ingredients, announces a change to its best-selling product: The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Antigingivitis Rinse, available in both Peppermint Twist and Orange Zest flavors. With the addition of more than six times more aloe to the original formula, aloe vera gel is now the active ingredient in the product, helping to reduce plaque and protect against gingivitis. In a recent study, the improved Healthy Gums Antigingivitis Rinse was shown to be as effective as the original Healthy Gums formula with the ability to inhibit the growth of oral bacteria in vitro. The new formula is now in stores.
The Healthy Gums Antigingivitis Rinse, which has always been a soothing, alcohol-free formula, now has increased moisturizing capability due to the higher concentration of aloe, an ingredient that assists in moisture retention. Aloe also soothes mouth and gum irritations.

In addition to the increased aloe in The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Antigingivitis Rinse, the Peppermint Twist flavor now contains chlorophyll, a natural ingredient that provides a new green color for the rinse, which was formerly red. Chlorophyll, which is found in plants and gives vegetation its green color, is also a natural breath freshener. The addition of chlorophyll increases the breath freshening power of the Peppermint Twist rinse, but it does not change the flavor of the product.
Both flavors in The Natural Dentist Healthy Gums Antigingivitis line are formulated with an herbal blend that includes Echinacea, Goldenseal, Calendula and grapefruit seed extract.
