CHICAGO, IL, March 19, 2010–Oral Health America (OHA), a national non-profit organization, founded in 1955 and headquartered in Chicago, is pleased to welcome three new members who have recently been elected to its Board of Directors. They are:
Steve Pollock, JD, President, DentaQuest
Steve Pollock has been with DentaQuest (formerly known as Doral Dental USA), a subsidiary of DSM, since 1999. DentaQuest is the largest dental benefits administrator operating in the US government sector. A graduate of University of Madison Law School and a certified public accountant, Mr. Pollock actively participates in DentaQuest’s Social Responsibility Committee, which promotes community partnerships through sponsorship and volunteerism. He also volunteers regularly at Mission of Mercy Projects, which provide free dental care to thousands of underserved individuals.
Robert Walker, Vice President and General Manger, OralDNA Labs, a Quest Diagnostics Company
Mr. Walker has served as Vice President Administration at AEL and Vice President with Sonic Healthcare. He was Corporate Vice President, Sales at Esoterix Inc., an esoteric laboratory company, and served as Divisional Vice President with Apria Healthcare. Mr. Walker started his career with Xerox Corporation as an Account Manager before moving to healthcare with STERIS Corporation. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.
Vickie Waitsman, Vice President- General Counsel, DentalEZ Group
Vickie Waitsman has been with DentalEZ Group since 1994 and provides representation and advice to each of its brands, StarDental, CustomAir, Ramvac, NevinLabs, Columbia Dentoform and DentalEZ Equipment. Ms. Waitsman currently serves on the board of The Dental Trade Alliance Foundation, Academy of Dentistry International Foundation, and Kids Smiles, and is a past Chairman of The Dental Trade Alliance. She is an alumness of Temple University School of Law.
