Darlene Jones, RDH, MPA, is the interim director of the Dental Hygiene Program at the University of Michigan (U-M) in Ann Arbor, and president of Sigma Phi Alpha Dental Hygiene Honor Society, Nu-Chapter. With a passion for expanding dental hygiene services to underserved populations and mentoring students during their community-based research projects, she also supervises a public dental prevention program in Washtenaw County, working with U-M dental hygiene students. Jones also provides patient care at U-M’s Integrated Special Needs Clinic. She can be reached at: dmjrdh@umich.edu.


Colleen Rolland, BS, is a recent graduate of the Dental Hygiene Program at U-M. She is dedicated to helping individuals on the autism spectrum disorder receive the best oral hygiene care possible.
