If you are contemplating a move, Forbes has released the 10 states where dental hygienists earn the most money to help narrow down the search. In terms of average incomes for dental hygienists, Alaska ($107,190), California ($97,420), and Washington ($91,420) are the highest-earning states.

New Mexico, Maryland, New Jersey, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, and Massachusetts round out the list of states with the highest incomes form dental hygienists.

At the other end of the scale, Alabama ($46,290), West Virginia ($54,970), and Louisiana ($57,450) have the lowest incomes for dental hygienists.
