Thomas F. Flemmig, Dr med dent, Dr med dent habil, MBA,
is professor and former chair of the Department of Periodontics at the
University of Washington in Seattle. He was also chair of the
Departments of Periodontology at the University of Würzburg and the
University of Münster, both in Germany. Flemmig's research focuses on
translational aspects of biofilm-related periodontal diseases.
