Su-yan L. Barrow, RDH, MA, MPH, is a clinical associate professor in the Dental Hygiene Program at New York University, New York, where she is coordinator of the Dental Hygiene Baccalaureate Program. In clinical practice part-time, Barrow is also a city research scientist for New York’s Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
