Sumitha N. Ahmed, RDH, BDS, MS, is a clinical assistant professor, director of preclinical operative dentistry, and codirector of the educational research group in the Department of Operative Dentistry at the University of North Carolina (UNC) Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. She is an active member of the Academy of Operative Dentistry, American Dental Education Association (ADEA), and International Association of Dental Research (IADR).
