Stacey McKinney, RDH, PHDH, EdD, is an associate professor and director of the Dental Hygiene Program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Her teaching responsibilities focus on preventive oral care, advanced periodontics, and board prep. With more than 15 years of clinical dental hygiene experience in community-based and general practice, McKinney is also a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association and American Dental Education Association.
