Miranda E. Davis, DDS, MPH, is director of the Native Dental Therapy Initiative Project with the Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. In this role, she assists tribes in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho as they incorporate dental therapists into their clinics. Davis also provides clinical care with the Puyallup Tribe in Washington State, where she has worked since 2006. Passionate about public health, disease prevention, and expanding access to high quality oral health care, Davis has a special interest in helping patients with dental fears and in providing respectful care.
