Jana M. Pierce, RDH, BS, has been a practicing dental hygienist for 20 years and an oral surgery assistant for the past 4 years. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) and a student in the graduate dental hygiene program at Idaho State University in Pocatello, where she is currently conducting research on interprofessional collaboration.
