David M. Avenetti, DDS, MSD, MPH, is a full-time clinical assistant professor at the College of Dentistry, University of Illinois in Chicago. He works with both predoctoral students and pediatric residents in their didactic and clinical courses. Avenetti's research interests include oral health literacy, delivery of dental care under general anesthesia, leadership in pediatric dentistry, and select public health topics.
