Dynamic Dental Partners Group Concludes First Annual Dental Hygienist Symposium
Tampa, Fla. – June 23, 2014M – Dynamic Dental Partners Group (DDPG), a leading dental services organization (DSO), announced today results from its recently concluded first annual Dental Hygienist Symposium in Tampa, Fla. The DDPG Symposium attracted nearly 90 hygienists from across the company for three days to stress the conference’s theme, “Lifetime Partnership…for Lifetime Care.”
“The opportunity to bring all of DDPG’s hygienists together was extremely exciting and our hygienists and administrators enjoyed the opportunity to exchange dental healthcare best practices and protocols,” said DDPG’s CEO, Dr. Alex A. Giannini. “We were able to communicate, coach and share with our hygienists about their primary role as educators and motivators for the dental health of our patients. The symposium also provided the opportunity for us to share how they play a critical part in establishing the standard of care for their respective dental practices.”
The highlight of the symposium was the session led by Dr. Sam Low who currently serves as professor emeritus at the University of Florida, and as an associate faculty of the Pankey Institute. Dr. Low’s 30 years of experience in periodontics and implants served as a platform as he spoke about the important role hygienists have in preventing and managing periodontal diseases.
Heidi Arndt, a dental hygiene coach with Enhanced Hygiene, also spoke at the event, and provided strong examples of patient care, communications and education based on her dental expertise and industry reputation.
“Heidi’s participation in our symposium was right on point and our hygienists benefited greatly from her coaching,” said DDPG’s Chief Clinical Officer, Dr. George Strickland. “It is our responsibility to implement protocols for hygienists to follow in our practices that elevates patient care to the highest standard.”
Charlotte Harper, a hygienist from Somerset Family Dental in Gilbert, AZ enjoyed the opportunity to come together as a whole, “It was a great opportunity to meet hygienists from other locations throughout the company. We shared ideas and learned new techniques from our peers and speakers that we were able to bring back to our office and start using right away.”
DDPG also invited many dental industry vendors to participate in the symposium. The vendors’ involvement focused on strengthening business partnerships that DDPG maintains and building relationships with the individuals involved.
“The symposium was a great opportunity for DDPG to connect with their hygienists, and I was thrilled to be invited to participate”, said Crystal Tinsley, national accounts trainer for Six Month Smiles. “DDPG’s focus on establishing the highest standard of care and building patient relationships is absolutely the right philosophy to instill in their hygienists.”
DDPG is currently planning its second annual dentist symposium to be held August 24 – 26. Similar to the hygienist symposium, DDPG intends on assembling its network of doctors to focus on lifetime care, practice leadership and building strong partnerships as the company continues to pursue emerging business opportunities.
