CHICAGO, March 11, 2014 —The American Dental Association (ADA) will welcome President George W. Bush to ADA 2014 – America’s Dental Meeting for the Opening General Session and Distinguished Speaker Series Thursday, Oct. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
Pittsburgh, PA (March 13, 2014) – VP of Sales Josh Daab of Atlantic Precious Metal Refining (Atlantic), a Pittsburgh-based precious metal refinery serving dental professionals worldwide, has recently been appointed to the board of directors for Oral Health America (OHA), a national, non-profit organization working to educate Americans about the importance of oral health.
Daab will serve a three-year term and provide strategic and tactical insights to the organization. He will join a board of twenty other dental industry experts.
As a member of Oral Health America’s board of directors, Daab will play an instrumental role in monitoring finances, contributing ideas for strategic development, supporting OHA’s President and CEO and adopting sound policies that will shape the future of Oral Health America.
“I am extremely honored to be a part of this accomplished network of experts,” remarked Daab. “I hope to provide meaningful feedback on a regular basis to help address the issues that concern all Americans who may not have access to proper oral care and education, and to further support the dental professionals who work hard to provide this access to everyone.”
Daab has been in the dental industry for almost three decades and is a long-time advocate of the dental profession and oral health-related issues. He is an annual participant in lobbying Congress on the importance of oral health awareness and the impact of oral health as it relates to overall health and well-being. In addition to his position at Atlantic, Daab is Co-Founder of Baker Dental Corporation and Daab Dental Distributing. An accomplished entrepreneur and strategic planner, Daab places an emphasis on relationship and partnership development.
“Atlantic Precious Metal Refining has been a wonderful supporter of Oral Health America and we’re honored to welcome Joshua Daab as a member of our board of directors,” said OHA President and CEO, Beth Truett. “We appreciate Josh’s dedication in helping OHA connect vulnerable communities with needed oral health resources, and we thank Atlantic for allowing Josh the time to participate on our board.”
Daab can be reached directly at jdaab@apmr.com, or by calling 800-289-9293 ext. 21.
