ADHA Announces Recipient of 2011 Crest-Oral B/ADHA Clinical Dental Hygienist Award—Catherine Stark, RDH, Orofacial Myologist
CHICAGO—The American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) has named Catherine Stark, RDH, Orofacial Myologist, of Ormond Beach, Fla., as the recipient of Crest-Oral B/ADHA Clinical Dental Hygienist Award. She was honored during the Plenary Session at ADHA’s 88th Annual Session in Nashville, Tenn. on June 18.
Stark currently works for Careerfusion and has been a faculty member and alumni since 2009. She is in private practice with Dr. Fredrick Costello and Dr. Daniel Drake at Atlantic Center for Comprehensive Dentistry and for Dr. Anny Vera. She earned her associates degree in dental hygiene from Tallahassee Community College in 1985, became an Orofacial Myologist in 2009, and is currently a member of ADHA.
This award recognizes clinical dental hygienists who made a difference in the lives of their patients/clients through one of a number of means including management, education or care services for patients/clients; the use of technology; or other innovative methods.
