  1. Explain postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and its etiologies, symptoms, and sequela.
  2. Describe care strategies for this patient population, the oral implications of POTS, and the dental team’s role in treatment.
  3. Discuss specific considerations for anesthesia in this population and patient movement/transfer to and from the dental chair.
