PAUL, Minn. – (Oct. 10, 2008) – Patterson Dental Supply, Inc. announces the release of CAESY DVD 2009, the latest version of patient education software for operatories and consult rooms to explain diagnoses, procedures, alternatives and post-op instructions. CAESY DVD 2009 contains more than 25 new and updated presentations to further enhance patient education, overall aiding the entire dental practice.

With 23 updated presentations, CAESY DVD 2009 now contains a more comprehensive Hygiene section with new modules on both Full Mouth Debridement and Prophylaxis. In addition, the CEREC® CAD/CAM presentation has been updated with an informational video of the CEREC MC XL milling unit, and the Sealants feature has also been modified. A new presentation to CAESY DVD 2009 is a Pediatric Dentistry segment featured on its own DVD, resourceful for educating parents on their children’s procedures. Additional new segments profile Perio Maintenance, Nitrous Oxide, and Sedation Dentistry, a topic about which many patients are currently seeking more information.
