
FDA Approves COVID-19 Booster Shots for Immunocompromised
The United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved COVID-19 booster shots for immunocompromised individuals, who already experience a reduced immune response to the initial vaccination. The government agency will not suggest that others receive a booster shot at this time. Individuals with impaired immune systems comprise approximately 3% of the US population.
