
Antibodies to COVID-19 May Last as Long as Five Months
Initially, research showed that antibodies to COVID-19 lasted only up to three months before steadily declining, but a new study published in Science finds that antibodies may last up to five months. This news provides individuals who have already recovered from COVID-19 insight into how safe they are from reinfection, as well as a glimpse into how effective a vaccine may be once it’s ready for distribution. The discovery was made by scientists at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mt.
