Dimensions of Dental Hygiene will present its sixth annual The Esther Wilkins Lifetime Achievement Award during the American Dental Hygienists’ Association’s 92nd Annual Session in Nashville on June 19. The presentation, which is made possible by premier sponsor Colgate and supporting sponsors Patterson Dental and Straumann, will be made during a reception at the Omni Nashville Hotel. The 2015 recipient will be recognized for his or her consistent and effective contributions to the enrichment of the dental hygiene profession.
The winner will be in good company—past recipients of The Esther Wilkins Lifetime Achievement Award include the award’s namesake, Esther M. Wilkins, BS, RDH, DMD; Maxine Alper Tishk, RDH, MS; Gail N. Cross-Poline, RDH, MS; Michele Leonardi Darby, BSDH, MS, and Margaret Walsh, RDH, MS, MA, EdD; and Juanita S. Wallace, RDH, PhD.
