PHOENIX, Arizona – September 25, 2007 – Zila, Inc. (Nasdaq: ZILA) introduces its next-generation Pro-Select® Platinum piezo ultrasonic scaling system for periodontal therapy. The enhanced version of the Pro-Select will be featured in the official New Product Showcase at the American Dental Association (ADA) Annual Session (Booth # 5721), September 27-30, 2007 in San Francisco, CA.
Ultrasonic scaling is rapidly becoming the standard of care for both prophylaxis and periodontal disease treatment. The Pro-Select Platinum is designed to be the world’s most comfortable, ergonomic and easiest-to-use ultrasonic scaler and heated irrigator. New features include:
o A LED handpiece that illuminates the oral cavity to improve clinical visibility
o A digital display that allows clinicians to easily view current settings and functions
