Winner of March’s Sunstar Giveaway Is Announced

Congratulations to Heather Thomas, PhD, MEd, BS, RDH, the March winner of the Sunstar eBrief Giveaway! An associate clinical professor chair of the Dental Hygiene Department at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, she has been a dental hygienist for 20 years and an educator for 11 years. Her academic and research interests include interdisciplinary health, health equity, and oral health literacy, particularly for disadvantaged populations. As a clinician, Thomas has worked in several states with individuals from various cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She has also served on many public health projects and traveled to different tribal regions to work with disadvantaged groups as part of the Dental Hygiene Department at Northern Arizona University.
