Unlicensed Dental Practice Discovered in Massachusetts Convenience Store

Authorities have arrested a man who was providing dental services in a rented room at the back of a convenience store in Milford, Massachusetts. The imposter dentist has no license to practice any type of dental or medical care in the United States, but had been performing examinations, prophylaxes, and extractions in addition to administering anesthesia. An immigrant from Ecuador, he had been a practicing dentist in his native country, according to a clerk who worked at the convenience store. He was charged with unauthorized practice of medicine and unauthorized practice of dentistry. The owner of the convenience store was also arrested and charged with conspiracy. Click here to read more.
