Transforming Smiles and Lives with Comprehensive Dental Care in Long Beach, California
The California Dental Association Foundation’s new model of patient care at the Long Beach clinic successfully placed more than 100 patients into dental homes, ensuring comprehensive oral health. With 46 dedicated volunteers, the clinic delivered nearly $37,000 in essential dental services.
The California Dental Association (CDA) Foundation’s recent clinic in Long Beach, held on August 17, marked a significant shift in its patient care approach by focusing on placing patients into dental homes for ongoing comprehensive care. The event was a resounding success, with 92 patients attending and 107 placed into dental homes, ensuring they receive the continuous care they need. A total of 384 procedures were performed, amounting to $36,618 in dental services provided by 46 dedicated volunteers. Patients were grateful and volunteers ensured the clinic ran smoothly. A variety of sponsors, including the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, made the event financially feasible.
