From the Etruscan removable bridge to the first Digital Smile software, last frontier of the dental technology. A museum about the Smile.
From 3rd to 6th December, during the Euromold of Frankfurt, the visitors will have the chance to relive the history of dental technologies through a gallery dedicated to the history of the Smile.
The visitors will have the chance to see an interesting Gallery dedicated to the evolution of the smile and dental prostheses from 2500 BC to nowadays, focusing on the development of dental technologies, the portrait of smile in artsand the precursors of dental technicians. The gallery named “The Smile History” will illustrate the development of dental techniques and smile until nowadays. We will find out for example that the first great dental technicians of the history were born in Italy or that until the end of the XIX century, portraits showing smile were absolute rarities because it was considered childish. Later, during the modern age, the advent of cinema and the development of photography brought lot of transformation in the use of smiling.
The gallery will highlight as newest trend in dentistry the Digital Smile System, a unique and innovative software, able to make the aesthetic preview of the virtual smile, to show the patient the final version of the prosthetic result and to provide the dental technician with aesthetical information for the final prosthesis.
The visitors of the gallery will have the chance to see the software in action and they will be invited to try it, getting in few minutes the virtual preview on their smile. The Gallery will be set at Pavilion 9 booth C159, inside the Italian Space, dedicated to the exposition of all the Italian excellence.
