February 27th — Addent has improved the microlux transilluminator with the following upgrades:
- Switched from “n” style batteries to aaa batteries (easier to procure)
- Alternate action on/off switch (more durable)
- Serial number is etched onto the outside of the handpiece (was previously on the inside of unit)
The new and improved microlux will accept all accessory light guides i.e. dl oral cancer tip, lighted mirror, proximal caries tip, perio tip, and endo tip. The microlux comes with either a 2 or 3mm light guide.
