Lack of Oral Health Professionals Has Real Consequences for Mainers

Two dental clinics serving low-income patients will close at the end of November due to staffing shortages. Located in Rumford and Monson, Maine, the clinics provided much-needed dental services to more than 2,000 patients. For more than a year, the Rumford clinic has been searching for a dentist and the Monson clinic has been trying to hire a dental hygienist.
