Instagram Video Claiming Fluoride Causes Dementia Debunked by AP News

A popular Instagram video making the social media rounds claims that dentists are a “scam” and the use of fluoride toothpaste and mouthrinse causes dementia and Alzheimer disease. This led AP News to use the video in its “News Verification” feature that investigates claims to reduce the spread of misinformation. The verdict: False.
