CHICAGO, IL – Hu-Friedy, a global leader in the manufacturer of dental instruments and the American Dental Hygienists’ Association today announced they have partnered to honor the 2011 graduating student members of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Each graduate will receive a co-branded Hu-Friedy EverEdge® Technology Nevi 3 Posterior Sickle Scaler featuring the ADHA logo as a gift from both organizations. More than 5,400 scalers will be shipped in early May to the graduates as they begin their professional careers.

And that commitment starts early,” says Ron Saslow, Hu-Friedy’s CEO. “That’s why we are thrilled to partner with the ADHA to acknowledge the class of 2011 as they enter the workforce. We wish them success and pledge to continue to provide them with the highest quality instruments and products in the profession.”
ADHA is the largest national organization representing the professional interests of the more than 150,000 dental hygienists across the country. Dental hygienists are preventive oral health professionals, licensed in dental hygiene, who provide educational, clinical and therapeutic services that support total health through the promotion of optimal oral health.
“We want this gift to be a token of our pride in these hygienists, because we all understand how hard they have worked to get to this moment,” says Caryn Solie, ADHA President. “ADHA is honored to partner with Hu-Friedy to congratulate the 2011 graduates on their accomplishment.
