Houston Dentist Joins Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor

Cosmetic dentist and media personality Terri L. Alani, DDS, will swap veneers for roses as she competes on Season 2 of ABC’s The Golden Bachelor. Known as the “Texas Tooth Lady,” Alani brings four decades of dental expertise and a spirit of adventure to the nationally televised search for love.

Houstonians will soon see a familiar face on national television when Terri L. Alani, DDS, steps into the spotlight on ABC’s The Golden Bachelor. Known as the “Texas Tooth Lady,” Alani has built a thriving career in cosmetic dentistry over the past 40 years, while also becoming a recognizable media presence through her radio show, national lectures, and millions of views on social media.

A graduate of UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry, Alani is celebrated for her expertise in smile-transforming procedures such as veneers and teeth whitening. Beyond her clinical work, she has served in leadership roles with the Greater Houston Dental Society and the Texas Dental Association, making her a respected figure in the dental community.

But Alani’s life extends far beyond dentistry. An avid adventurer, she has traveled the world solo, taught herself ventriloquism as a child, taken the polar plunge in Antarctica, and cultivated passions for fitness and photography. Now, Alani is among 23 women vying for the heart of Mel Owens, a 66-year-old former NFL player and attorney. Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor premieres Tuesday, September 24, on ABC.
