Florida Nonprofit Abruptly Closes, Leaving Patients in Mid-Treatment

SmileFaith Foundation, a nonprofit organization in New Port Richey, Florida, that provided low-cost dental treatment to veterans who do not quality for dental services through the VA system, abruptly shut its doors, leaving patients in the lurch. Many patients had undergone extractions in preparation for implant surgery when they were notified that the organization was no longer offering dental services.
