Dentists and Dental Students Can Now Administer Monkeypox Vaccines

The United States Department of Health and Human Services has increased the types of providers who can administer the JYNNEOS vaccine to prevent monkeypox, in addition to administering therapeutics to treat this and other orthopoxviruses. By expanding the list of providers, the agency hopes to be able to meet the demand for the immunization, which currently is exceeded in all 50 states.
