Dental Startup Receives Another Round of Funding

Venture capitalists recently invested $14.7 million into Flossy, a dental startup, bringing its total funding to more than $17 million. The company is hoping to address the high cost of both oral healthcare and dental insurance, improving access for those who can’t afford it. Flossy offers patients a fee-for-service model in which they will pay only for those services they choose, without membership fees. Flossy contracts with local dental providers at agreed-upon, reduced rates so the savings can be passed on to patients.
