EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Define coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, and myocardial infarction.
  2. Identify the implications of cardiovascular disease on dental hygiene treatment.
  3. Discuss the need for adequate anesthesia among patients with cardiovascular disease.
