Colgate Oral Pharmaceuticals, New York, and Philips Sonicare, Stamford, Conn, have joined forces to offer The Wellness Connection: The Relationship Between Oral and Systemic Health, a series of live, regional continuing education (CE) symposia for dental hygienists.
Featuring nationally recognized experts, these full-day events offer attendees a fresh look at wellness by addressing gender differences in hormones, stress response, and heart health, and nutritional influences in oral and systemic inflammation.
Participants receive five accredited CE units, continental breakfast, lunch, a Philips Sonicare power toothbrush and Colgate products.
To date, Colgate and Sonicare have sponsored symposia in New York, California, Illinois, and Texas. Additional events are planned this year, including sites in Florida and the Northeast. These exclusive invitation-only events are sold-out within a matter of days for all locations.
