Celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month
The American Dental Hygienists’ Association has teamed up with Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co to celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month (NDHM) in October. The 2012 theme is “Keep them healthy. Keep them clean,” which is designed to encourage simple strategies that patients can incorporate into a daily regimen to maintain optimal oral health. The association hopes to reach out to the public during NDHM to increase awareness about the importance of prevention in maintaining oral health.
