Canadian Dentist Runs Marathon in Record Time Dressed as a Tooth
Amy Ellett, BSc, DDS, a British Columbia dentist, earned a Guinness World Record as the fastest women’s marathon runner in a three-dimensional body part. Ellet ran the London marathon in a very quick 3:37:16 while wearing a tooth costume that included gingiva that hung below her knees. She earned this record only 1 week after running the Boston Marathon—costume-less. She was joined in the London Marathon by runners dressed as dinosaurs, beer cans, bones, strawberries, and squirrels. Click here to read more.
