Georgia Dounis, DDS, MS, is an associate professor in the Department of Clinical Sciences at theUniversity of Nevada Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine (UNLV SDM). She has published on oral disease prevention, access to oral healthcare, and educating the health care workforce on treating an aging population. Dounis is also a contributor to the textbook Prevention ofOral Diseases.
