Cheryl A. Vamos, PhD, MPH, is an assistant professor, director of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Program, and Fellow in the Chiles Center in the College of Public Health at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Her research focuses on women’s health, reproductive/sexual health, and MCH oral health. Vamos employs behavioral theory, health literacy, implementation science, and technology approaches to assist patients, providers, and the community in making informed health decisions. She has received diverse funding for her work and disseminates broadly via scientific publications and presentations.
