ADA Seeks Greater Support to Provide US Veterans With Dental Care

On March 28, the American Dental Association (ADA) sent a letter to Congress requesting more support in providing dental care to United States veterans. The letter asked for $1.25 billion to fund VA Dentistry, which is $50 million higher than what has been budgeted. ADA leadership also requested that the status of the assistant under secretary for health for dentistry be the same as all other healthcare-related assistant under secretaries for health to ensure that dental providers have a seat at the table.
