OHA’s Older Adults Website Celebrates One-Year Anniversary

UofL School of Dentistry professor addresses implication of Image Gently campaign

October 7th — Last October, Oral Health America launched toothwisdom.org, a first-of-its-kind website dedicated to older adults and oral health.

The site connects older adults to local care and education around the oral health issues they face, the importance of continuing prevention as we age, and the overall impact of oral health on overall health. The site features articles written by dental experts in plain language and an interactive map to connect older adults and caregivers with local resources.

Over the past year toothwisdom.org has had more than 80,000 sessions and more than 67,000 users. There are now more than 200 content-rich pages with new pages being added all the time.
