In this movie, a respiratory virus from Malaysia makes its way from bats to humans, spreading quickly around the world and killing a high proportion of those infected. The reaction of experts who have seen this movie—It’s an extreme scenario, but not an impossible one. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has also posted a Web page in response to the movie.
