HAUPPAUGE, NY: March 9, 2011 — DEFEND+PLUS Disinfecting/Deodorizing/Cleaning Wipes, available from Mydent International, now provide a quicker, more effective 2-minute kill time against a greater variety of pathogens. With cleaning and disinfecting properties, DEFEND+PLUS wipes kill Escherichia coli 0157:H7, Human Hepatitis B virus, Human Hepatitis C virus, Herpes Simplex virus 2 (genital herpes virus), Influenza A (A2 Japan), Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Mycobacterium tuberculosis, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella enterica, Staphylococcus aureus, and Vancomycin Resistant Enterococcus faecalis (VRE). This kill time is effective at 20 degrees Celsius/68 degrees Fahrenheit, on hard, non-porous surfaces when used as directed.
