(Charlotte, NC)  Carestream Health/Kodak Dental Systems has made a generous donation to National Children’s Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF) of 6,000 boxes of Lidocaine 2% and 688 boxes of dental film to help prevent childhood dental decay.  

Lidocaine 2% is a local anesthetic used to numb the tooth and gums during dental procedures. Valued at $109,320, this donation was dispersed among 20 of the non-profit Affiliates of NCOHF. The donated dental film, available in various sizes, was valued at $53,689.05 and was distributed to 12 Affiliates.  

Carestream Health/Kodak Dental Systems Customer Service and Support Manager James D’Acquisto said, “As a leader in the industry we are pleased to be in a position to help prevent pediatric dental disease. A child’s smile is priceless.”
Fern Ingber, President and CEO of NCOHF, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the Affiliates.  “Carestream Health/Kodak Dental Systems has graciously provided our non-profit Affiliates with a very generous supply of materials highly useful in the prevention of pediatric dental disease. This donation allows our Affiliates to stretch their dollars farther as they care for underserved children in their local communities.”
