ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarships Awarded to Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers

WASHINGTON, D.C.—The Procter & Gamble Company was the sponsor of the ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarship for Dental Hygiene Students Pursuing Academic Careers, presented at the 86th ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition in Phoenix, Arizona.

“Crest Oral-B is pleased to sponsor this award through ADEA which provides assistance to future dental hygiene educators. We would like to commend Ms. Armstrong and Ms. Vinson on their achievements and wish them the best of luck in their studies,” said Desi Nuckolls, Manager of Professional and Academic Relations for the Procter & Gamble Company.

Each year two dental hygiene students receive the ADEA/Crest Oral-B Scholarships. Brenda Armstrong from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and Mary H. Vinson from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry were the recipients of this year’s  scholarships. The scholarship supports dental hygiene students who are pursuing education beyond an associate’s degree and who have an interest in an academic career.
